catch-all fordola post
Who: fordola... and you?
When: juril
Where: aefenglom
What: quests and canon updates ahoy
Warnings: ffxiv 4.0 to 5.0 spoilers, at the very least.
OPEN TO ALL
[ glooming and looming, post-canon update. ]
[ The night was dull, but it somehow felt... brighter, as Fordola stumbled out of the Looking Glass. It was not the first time she'd felt this disorientated.
And when she was disoriantated? She flew though the empty streets--
--until bumping into you. Uh, sorry? ]
[ suspicious activity ]
[ Fordola had not heard about the cultists until she had been struck by them - the word butcher seeming to bleed from her face.
And yet, she didn't seem to care. No, instead, she'd let it show on her face as she tried to keep her regular day going. Though, if she saw somebody else with the marks? She'd give a little tilt of her head. ]
Wanna get some revenge? Not in th'violent way.
[ Her Bond would disagree with those methods. Unless they attacked back. ]
[ runaways ]
[ For those who had gone out to seek the children, however, there was quite the strange site on the edge of town - Fordola, sitting there, with the children. Talking about her home - but not of pain and suffering. No, she spoke of fighting alongside friends for what they felt was right.
Were they also chimera, Fordola was asked, and she lied. They were all seen as outsiders, so close enough. But, if Fordola sees you? She'll give a smile, and a tsk. ]
Hey, you. C'mere - got a question for ya.
[ She may or may not be trying to pull you into a spar. A fight. To show them techniques, you see. ]
CLOSED TO:
[ thancred ]
[ Now, how had Fordola 'rescued' those children?
It began that morning, when she had finally decided to tell Thancred about what she'd seen in the mirror. But it wouldn't be fitting if she just... you know... told him at home. So she invited him out for a flight. ]
...Thancred, do you trust me? Uh, right now, I mean.
[ mira ]
[ Mira trusted Fordola - Fordola even saw her as a friend.
And now, Fordola understood it a little more. Even if Mira wasn't the Warrior of her home... she had seen so much. Too much. And thus, she had landed on her balcony again - this time, carrying some small baked goods. (She'd tried. They were a little burned, but she didn't want to just burden her.)
But, there was also a purr in her throat. She wanted to see her gaelicat friend as well, thank you very much. ]
[ other? ]
