[Stalking... Soren raises an eyebrow at that, disturbed at the idea of being in that position not once, but more and liable to be counting. Momo's cheerfully blasé about the whole thing, like it's just another Tuesday for him. Maybe it's Soren who should rethink his perspective on job pursuits, though: being poor and risking his life fighting with weapons and magic? or well-off and having to worry about fanatic creeps finding out where he lives?

He'd still take the former, honestly. Being an idol is, in fact, definitely not for everyone. Briefly, his thoughts flow toward Micaiah, someone born like him who should have been forced to live in the shadows but found herself worshipped as the Maiden of Dawn, a beacon of hope, to the point of religious zeal by swathes of her countrymen. He doesn't think of her often, but here, he finds himself doing so. Did she enjoy being cast into the light? Or was it merely something she felt she had to do? He thinks he knows the answer.

His thoughts reel back to his current companion, someone quite unlike him from a completely different world.]

Did you have an idol when you were growing up?
