I'm sure they've handled fae and puca before, there's probably a way you can do it safely. And then you've got Turnskins and silver, which might not be as common but would still probably be around a forge enough to be a problem. [Even if fae aren't that common, puca are and turnskins absolutely are, so it would be in any forge's best interest to have a way to let those customers safely navigate.
The remark on getting them caught on something makes him laugh a bit, though.] I'm not talking ridiculously loose, but something that's cut pretty straight or a tiny bit wide the whole way down gives a lot more room to move when you're dancing or working out or whatever. I just find it more comfortable than trying to work out in something with a narrow leg, and decent shorts are just as hard to find as loose pants here too, so that's not really a solution.
