Had Emet-Selch noticed this wasn't the most popular (or for that matter, polite) topic? Sure. He also hadn't particularly cared- but in the same measure, any concern he had was in an abstract. He had little reason to prod any further.

"Well, if you're content with your lot of ever-worsening bouts of wild abandon, who am I to argue with it?" he responds with a shrug and a tilt of his head, expression thoughtful.
