Warnings: Sew N Sews could get racy?
I. Actors Wanted: (Please reply in the designated thread to include Juza!)
[On a street corner in front of a necessities shop, there are two oddly formally dressed men, one of whom is obviously a Monster, and one of whom is trying a little harder to hide it. They're both holding moderately sized brownish cloths, and seem to be in the middle of some sort of performance.]
--That's right, Juza! It holds five times its weight in liquid!
You’ll never need another paper towel again. Use it for spills! Use it to dry yourself off!
Everything from household chores to the toughest business can be ten times easier with the MagicSham! Just check out this-- [he looks pained. So pained.] --sweet sucking action.
[Omi pulls out a shallow pan and dumps a small pitcher of water into it, then steps back to hand the MagicSham he was holding to Juza.
Juza dunks the cloth in the water, and it barely even sucks up any water at all. Sometimes you just gotta take a gig.]
Wow.
[He does not sound even a little bit enthused.]
II. Sew N Sews
a. Whistle while you work
[Omi's focusing intently on the work in front of him, at times fiddling with delicate silky or lacy things, at other times forcing a needle through vinyl. He's the elbow grease and the finesse all at once. Maybe he didn't sew so much back home, but he's pretty handy with crafts to begin with!
A new model walks up, and Omi looks up from his work quickly, reaching for the pincushion with a sheepish smile. Whether the model is in scant lingerie or a themed costume, they need some fitting help, and Omi's been given a crash course.]
Right. I'll just be pinning a few places and adjusting here and there. If you wouldn't mind just standing up straight and ah… Holding your arms out to your sides…?
b. Turnabout's fair play
[Somewhere in all of this, Omi got the tables turned on him. One of the brothel owners ran in with a panicked expression, saying a model was under the weather, and they had to be fitted today, but oh! Omi was just the same size and build! So now Omi finds himself in layers of a costume that somehow manages to not look out of place on him at all. Everything fits pretty well, but there are adjustments needed here and there, usually in unfortunately intimate places. His face is a bit red, but he's trying, okay?]
Ah, is it easier if I stand like this?
[Let's just hope he's not mistaken for an actual brothel employee!]
III.Berry Picking
[Omi's definitely growing more and more familiar with the local flora, thanks to his cooking hobby. It seemed like a good match to work for this business, so he's looking more than a little excited about getting out into the wilderness to examine the plants, and then to ultimately sample the final product. Asking around habitually, he knows what's poisonous and what to avoid, but he's never worked with freshly picked berries of this sort! Maybe he can talk them into giving him a few for a pie?
Walking among the bushes, he's sweeping aside branches and looking for the ripest berries, all miraculously untouched by local animals.His newly heightened sense of smell is helping him sniff out the condition of the plants, and he seems pleased as he advances through the thicket. Finally, he lights on a good spot, with plenty to pick, and looks back to his partner.]
Over here! These look nice and ripe. We'll be able to get at least half a basket.
IV. Work it out
[Omi's trying to get serious about both controlling these newly developed instincts and staying in shape so he can eventually fight properly alongside the martial folks of Aefenglom. He jogs every morning after he serves up breakfast, and can be often caught doing push-ups or jumping rope, or even playing some makeshift one-man soccer in the front yard of the mansion he and others live in.
If, on his jog, he catches anyone else diligently training, he'll be sure to stop by to inquire about their training and skills, honestly curious. If you catch him training, he'll likely be shirtless, and it's clear he's well-built and strong. He's pretty tall and broad, too, for a normal human!
Feel free to recruit him for some physical labor, fight training, or modeling… Or just say hello!]
