This guys reasoning is pretty valid, though. He guesses. There's a little voice in his head somewhere telling him to cool off, to quit being such a jerk, to maybe prioritise actually getting help instead of just making yet another village wonder what the hell his deal is. Sakura would have already smacked two shades of shit out of him by this point, so it's definitely some kind of character growth that he's got here by himself without any need for shit smacking. ]
