Markus took stock of what he saw when he passed through the house. The place looked lived in, and the animals acted friendly--or in the dog's case indifferent--to Connor as he passed by. The animals didn't see him as a threat. Hm.
The house eventually opened to a bright garden. It was definitely more preferable to be in an open area. He came to a stop some distance away from Connor. Not too far away, but very obviously keeping his distance still.
He waved a hand through the air and shook his head in dismay. "The day starts like any other. Now I'm being told I have to accept different timelines..?" A breathy laugh followed, "I can't explain what you showed me, but I'm sure you can understand how that's a lot to accept all at once."
