[Kirika's grown up pretty broke. Or, well, very broke. She never had much freedom to waltz around the past few years, but she's been so hard up for money that she's learned pretty quickly the difference between a deal and a scam. Even now that she has a little more money in her day to day life, it's something to watch out for.

Mostly because she got scammed a lot. She's an earnest, eager girl, she's pretty easy to talk into things too. But she's learned her lesson, especially when it comes to street stalls like this. They're pretty fly-by-night, and all. She's walking the stalls, peering around but walking away before she can get caught up in a vendor's flow.

And then she catches sight of what can only be a scam in progress. She watches for a second, amused, but this girl really seems like she's about to go for it. She can't let that happen. Heck, even if the potion is on the level, a guy who talks like that can only be selling it for way more than its worth.

So she takes a few steps forward, listens for a second longer, then - rushes forward, tugs on the other girl's sleeve.

D... darling! [Yes, this is her masterplan. She fidgets for a second, then tugs again.]

Come on, didn't I tell you not to spend too much money around here? You never - [She jerks her head towards the merchant.] know - [She motions with her head again.] who's trying to rip you off! [Motion, motion, motion. 'Now, hold on, you can't just accuse me of -']

Hypothetical ripoffs! I just have a crick in my neck! One time I got hit with a hammer! [Yeah the merchant's just staring blankly.]

Anywho, let's, uh, let's just go?
