"That's not a bad idea," Waver had to admit, examining the jewelry -- and the runes -- curiously. He doesn't even try to touch them, though, too wary of whatever taint the water held, just in case. He had another healing scroll, but he really didn't want to have to use it.

In the meantime, he was digging in his pack again, and eventually pulled out a thin blanket he'd brought along.
