[open] i'll win on my own merit
Who: Soundwave and you
When: Aereuer 13th
Where: Looking-Glass House
What: Memshare
Warnings: violence, war, fantasy robot racism
[Soundwave's mirror is mechanical-looking, its frame embellished with a purple metallic plating, circuits wrapping around like vines. Anyone who's talked to him at least once may notice craving of Decepticon symbols all over the frame.]
i - Origin story & Discrimination
[The dream opens to a desolate, filthy field, broken and abandoned buildings stretch the wasteyard. The mist is thick enough to make it impossible to tell if it's daylight or nighttime and instead cast gloom across all surrounding. Sad and devoid of sound and no sign of life, except for a single being.
A lonely and distressed being, repeatedly speaking nonsense like a mad mantra. Sound. Light. Taste. Smell Said being is a younger Soundwave, in a much simpler build, lacking the thick armor and armaments his current self is equipped with, and noticeably no faceplate, The lack of one shows the pain in his expression whereas his current self would otherwise not show.
It's clear that the younger bot is suffering. Though it's not like there was anyone else around him, all seems hopeless... Until three animal-shaped mechs come into the scene. "Are you okay?"]
ii - Decepticon & Betrayal
[The memory opens up to an aftermath of a large-scale war. Soundwave and several other Decepticons are overlooking Cybertron being rebuilt at a distance. They officially lost the war, Megatron abandoned them and defected to the other sides, a lot of them are at a loss on what to do or where to go next.
Now Soundwave discusses the Decepticon's next move with a warlord. After Soundwave suggested Earth to be the world they should go to, the warlord immediately proposes them to conquer the planet. However, Soundwave just as quickly denied that idea.
"No- No more conquering. That... That was Megatron's way. Now we follow the true Decepticon path."
"And what is that...?"
"Peace." The warlord, however, frowns... Soundwave, being the naive bot that he is, didn't see the betrayal that comes much later.]
iii - Freedom
[Its chaos at Autobot City on Earth. Humans and Cybertronian are working together to ward off against an invading alien threat; the Junkions and thousands of Sharkticons filled the sky and munching on whatever they get their jaws on.
Soundwave, having retrieved the green-colored Autobot, Cosmos, lands on the ground and gently sets the other bot down for the small humans to repair his Autobot friend. Many are concern about the Junkion's massive number, looking for a solution with their small numbers, and some feared that they could be higher than a thousand shark robots.
One speculates that they must've been crammed in a small space, since they couldn't get a signal that an army was amassed in the Junkion's large spiral-like ship, which leads Soundwave to a realization.
"Yes... Of course. The Sharkticons serve the Junkions. They are an underclass." Having reached this realization, Soundwave takes to the sky towards the enemy force. "And fortunately for us, class warfare is my specialty."
Now in the middle of the enemy force by himself, Soundwave calls for all of the Sharkticons' attention. Some of them are already charging at him with jaws wide open, ready to tear the metal off him, but regardless, Soundwave starts his speech-]
iv - Something Lighthearted
[Soundwave is hanging around with a herd of wild elephants. He watches the large mammals do their thing in their natural habitat, oddly enough finding some sort of peace in them. The herd apparently accepts him, as he's able to get near them and their babies without the adult trying to threaten him away.
An idea pops into his head. Soundwave materializes his avatar and lets one baby elephant to hug him on his laps. Such a silly thing to do with his avatar, but it's not like there's anyone here to watch him do this. And there aren't that many opportunities where he gets to do this.]
